Strategic Sourcing Lead Enterprise Initiatives-Supplier Consolidations - 63718BR

As a member of Procurement and Sourcing Enterprise Initiatives team, the incumbent will be responsible for (1) executing on Procurements strategic objective of identifying and driving value from the supply chain, (2) reducing supply chain related risk, (3) and implementing Procurements response to enterprise level initiatives.

-Ensures the end state of the program meets business objective(s) and that all deliverables, savings targets, and risk goals are achieved in accordance with the established due dates.
-Collaborates with Business Areas, Category Management, and Supplier Management Services to develop solutions to reduce the overall supplier portfolio, while continuing to meet business requirements.
-Identify supply chain and sourcing productivity initiatives by embracing continuous improvement methodologies, and lean six sigma tools.
-Coordinate the execution of highly complex projects to drive value and reduce risk for the enterprise based on an understanding of the business units needs, the supply market, spend baseline, and industry benchmarks.
-Analyzes large amounts of complex data to provide strategic and detailed recommendations to Procurements Category Managers and key business stakeholders.
-Leads assigned projects by creating timelines, building contingency plans, executing corrective actions, communicating issues resolution, and identifying and utilizing key milestones, stakeholders, and resources needed to ensure timely and successful deal negotiations.
-Manages project risks and issues and effectively communicates such risks and issues to stakeholders.
-Maintains accurate data in Contracting and Project Management systems.
-Collaborates with Financial Managers to validate savings and provide financial reporting and metrics.

Background Experience:
-Minimum of 7 years of experience, preferably in the healthcare and/or retail Industry, in a combination of the following related areas; supply chain, procurement, vendor management, sourcing, project management, or operations.
-Prior experience and leadership in aggressively managing cost, supplier negotiations, conflict management, business relationship management.
-Prior experience with utilizing solid customer-focused consulting skills and the ability to influence Business Stakeholders.
-Prior experience working independently, managing projects and priorities under tight deadlines, and in a dynamic and changing environment.
-Prior experience with development of effective presentations through the use of MS Office Suite, Excel, Word, SharePoint and Power Point and potentially Project and Visio.
-Prior experience with working effectively across different teams, processes and technologies to attain desired business, operational and compliance results.

Procurement - Certified Purchasing Manager, Project Management - Project Management Professional (PMP), Project Management - Six Sigma Certification: Yellow Belt
