Senior Communications Consultant, Shared Services

The Sr Communications Consultant, is responsible for developing, managing and executing strategic communications plans for Shared Services business partners in support of both function-specific and cross-enterprise initiatives.

Can be located in RI, MA, CT, NY preferably but open to work at home options and other locations throughout the northeast.


Fundamental Components:

The ideal candidate will serve as a thought partner, advising and counseling clients on communications strategies, ranging from specific, tactical communications to complex, multi-phase campaigns to help them achieve their business objectives. Partner with business leaders to develop and execute strategic communications with focus on raising awareness of programs or initiatives to driving greater levels of employee engagement.

The Sr Communications Consultant will develop measurement strategies to gauge the effectiveness of communications plans to drive continuous improvement and develop key messages and high impact content for delivery through a variety of digital channels. Activate audience-specific plans in order to reach, influence and engage a range of colleague groups and populations



Background Experience:
.Preferred Qualifications
  • Outstanding writing and editing skills;
  • Attention to detail; knowledge of AP Style
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to independently and effectively counsel clients
  • Ability to juggle multiple, high-priority projects simultaneously and re-balance priorities as needed
  • Comfortable with ambiguity and responsive to change
  • Ability to navigate a large, matrixed organization and engage with leaders and colleagues at all levels
  • Proven writing and editing skills including knowledge of AP Style
  • Proficiency in Microsoft tools, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
