IT Project Manager-Enterprise Risk Management - 60266BR

Job Summary:

The individual in this role will serve as the subject matter expert on the team for information technology related projects and processes. They will lead the effort to select the appropriate technology platform for the Enterprise Risk Management (ERM) team and will partner closely with IT on the subsequent implementation and optimization of the platform for our use. They will also serve as a consultant to the team for IT related risk and opportunity identification and will be the lead for the coordination with IT on the preparation of IT related risk dashboards. As the team is small and highly collaborative, they will be expected to contribute to projects in non-IT related risk areas as well. Knowledge
of data visualization tools such as Tableau and experience in executive communications would be very helpful, allowing this individual to serve as an effective consultant for the broader team.

Fundamental Components:

• Work closely with project stakeholders to develop business cases and other project documentation.
• Develop and actively manage project plans in line with CVS Health standards to ensure solutions are delivered within agreed parameters.
• Proactively leads assigned projects by creating project timeline, identifying key milestones and
additional resources needed to successfully complete the work.
• Assists with the management of internal relationships, processes and performance drives (in some
cases relationships may be external).
• Negotiates to obtain additional resources (may be cross functional/segment).
• Responsible for the budgetand/or financial implications of the project.
• Identifies issues that may stall project and works with manager to address them.
• Tracks progress and
communicates project status on a regular basis to all impacted parties.
• Builds communication plan
for implementation to ensure all impacted parties (up stream/down stream) are
informed of next steps for completion.
• Acts as an advocate for change may require influencing others to see the value in project.
• Group facilitation/presentation influencing various internal (these may be cross-functional/segment) may also include external parties.
• May coach or mentor others by providing work direction.
• May solicit and evaluate
internal and external customer feedback to enhance continuous quality
improvement.
• May identify gaps and recommend enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and
workflows based on broad view of the organization.
• Develops recommendations based on complex data and root cause analysis.
• Will be seen as a Subject Matter Expert, serving as the lead in IT related discussions and providing the
technology perspective in broader risk discussions.

Background Experiece Desired:

• Proven track record meeting project objectives and QDC (Quality, Delivery and Cost).
• 4-7 years related work experience.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong intellectual curiosity required.
• Ability to work collaboratively within work teams critical.
• Prior experience with Archer and Tableau desired
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with management.
• Strong organization skills.
• Individuals with prior
experience in the legacy CVS Health businesses will be given preference
• Position can be based in either Hartford, CT or Woonsocket, RI
• Some travel required (primarily between CT and RI)
