Senior Video Producer

Primary Location: Wellesley, MA
Additional Locations: MA-Wellesley
The candidate has the knowledge and expertise to execute the most innovative and resourceful methods of video production. The Senior Producer is actively engaged with the creative team(s) and has confidence in handling challenging assignments. He/she ensures that the highest standards are met, on time and on budget, while maintaining the best production values. They have an excellent knowledge and understanding of the process around agency video production, working with vendors when necessary and translating creative concepts into high quality deliverables.

Fundamental Components:
Scope, create budgets and manage all moving content creation including: production shoots, editorial, graphics, animation, stock, music, audio and talent
Work closely with creative team to bring their vision to life and ensure it is aligned with the goals of the client so that all expectations are fulfilled
Mentor/teach junior creatives on their roles in the production process
Keep Project Management informed of schedule and/or budget changes
Track all project costs
Update Agency General Manager and Executive Creative Director on ongoing projects
Promote solid professional relationships with vendors
Review/select/recommend directors/editors/animators
Produce simple to complex shoots or events
Be creative and collaborative in execution/budgetary approach
Possesses the expertise to produce on any budget
Basic knowledge of contracts
Stay on top of industry trends, techniques and new developments
Collaborate with Agency GM, Finance and Procurement on billing/invoicing
Mentor junior producers and editors
Educate/mentor co-workers in other capabilities that engage with production
Maintain a positive can-do attitude and passion for excellence even in high-pressure situations

Background Experience:
10+ Years of agency production experience
General agency experience is required
Experience producing projects from internal videos through TV commercials. Events, experiential, digital, etc is a plus.
