You will work with the consumer experience strategy, marketing, network, and clinical teams to identify and evaluate improvements to member experience that ensure Aetna's Commercial plans do more than simply take care of people when they are sick. For example, you may explore ways for both consumers and providers to more easily navigate our complex health system, and work with our Experience, Clinical and Digital teams to craft integrated experiences that address unmet needs in moments that matter to help people achieve their personal well-being beyond just physical health.

Responsibilities will include:

Being an indispensable strategic partner to consumer experience strategy, network, clinical, and marketing leadership by applying deep knowledge of the Commercial health plan categories and human behavior (including members, caregivers, providers, and key influencers) to inspire and guide the development of innovative solutions that drive business results.

Being a thought leader and champion the role consumer-understanding can play in identifying opportunities to show how Aetna's total approach to health and wellness can make a meaningful difference within communities and with individuals, such as tackling unmet needs in the patient lived-experience across various health journeys. Leading the process of developing and delivering on annual learning agendas. Ensuring the wide distribution of intelligence and insights: proactively connecting key partners with relevant insights.

Educating the business and marketing on existing knowledge and resources.

Driving continued innovation in the acquisition of new insights.



Background Experience:
5+ years experience in client research role, or as account management role in research supplier side.

Track record of helping healthcare or wellness companies succeed

Curiosity about how best to improve peoples lives, and understand their moments that matter

Deep experience playing a leadership role in assisting the business and marketing to develop product, service and marketing solutions

Experience developing truly impactful insights based on deep understanding of the operational and economic realities of the business

Ability to share a compelling vision and champion individual projects, leveraging excellent oral and written presentation skills and effective stakeholder management, including senior executives

Experience managing productive client relationships (including internal clients,) with a track record of helping win business and being an indispensable consultant to senior clients and an inspiring presence to mid-level and junior staff

Strong project management skills, including successful budget management, procurement, and seamlessly bridging internal team members and vendor partners

Proven success articulating a vision for change and making it a reality, ideally within a large organization

Strong storytelling skills - the ability to review a presentation and spot inconsistencies in data, story, formatting is essential.

PowerPoint, Excel, and document management skills are crucial; careful, thorough work is table stakes

Track record of developing and leading productive workshops

Experience marketing to multicultural and multilingual audiences is desired, but not essential
