Want to work at the bleeding edge of health insurance and technology? This Product Manager role will lead a significant portion of the Attain by Aetna product, a digital health experience launched in 2019 and developed in collaboration with Apple. We’re aiming to partner with our members to improve their health using advanced technologies and methods including wearables, machine learning, and behavioral economics. We need the best and brightest on this team to help us create the future of a real-time user-driven health experience!

Fundamental Components:
- Responsible for product roadmap for Attain product
- Work directly with engineering, internal IT, user experience, marketing, and customer service teams to manage feature roadmap, release planning, and backlog management
- Align product strategy within company/business unit strategic and operational plans
- Be an outstanding partner with engineering to properly scope, solution, and execute development of new features
- Be an outstanding collaborator, including directly managing key external technology partnerships for the product and internal stakeholders including API owners, IT stakeholders, and business / functional stakeholders.
- Directs the establishment of large cross-functional development and implementation work groups, encouraging - collaboration and innovative use of resources to achieve objectives consistent with the strategic plan
- Continuously improve release management methodology
- Develop new processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness of product and engineering teams in delivering high quality product at pace.
- Oversee Customer Service Operations, including feedback, issue escalation, and customer-facing content
- Creates business needs analysis in preparation for product development council
- Directs product analysis to gain a comprehensive understanding of internal and external environmental influences and competitive pressures - Incorporates results into product roadmap and overall product strategy
- Monitor and report key financial and operational performance indicators and make and execute plans to hit performance objectives.
- Attract, develop, and retain top talent
- Identifies long term needs of the organization and established succession plans for key personnel
- Maintains environment and reward system that encourages initiative, learning and empowerment
- Communicates and consults with senior management to ensure that product initiatives focus on long term results/earning and represent all constituencies effectively (e.g. segments, consumers, providers)


Background Experience:
- 5+ years of related industry and / or functional experience.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
- Demonstrates leadership
- Influence people within areas of responsibility
- Communicates well with all levels within the department and the company
- Strong track record of working with distributed teams
- Available to travel between 20-30%
- Proficient user of Jira or other engineering work management software tools
- Strong grasp of Agile methodology
