These are the professionals whohelp us build our business in the national accounts, middle markets, smallgroup markets, distribution channel, group insurance and specialty productsareas. Their goal is to meet customer needs and help them make better decisionsand about their health care and health care spending.
To manage Aetna’s sales, service,and retention efforts for global products in an assigned region to achieveprofitable growth and earnings targets. To manage operational goals andmaximize efficiencies.
Supports the development ofstrong relationships directly with customers, prospects and internal businesspartners that lead to the achievement of new sales, profitable growth andearnings targets.
Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements
·Supports the Region Head of Sales in theachievement of the revenue goals for the assigned regional territory
·Assists in the cultivation and development ofproducer and consultant contacts in the assigned territory
·Maintains contact and opportunity data insalesforce.com software package
·Develops research and material around potentialprospects and marketplace data
·Maintains awareness of competitive landscape
·Produces sales of International product throughdirect and producer distribution channels
·Supports AGB Sales Directors with large casesales efforts, cold calling, telemarketing and lead generation
·Articulate the Aetna Global Value PropositionSupports the cross-sell efforts with National Accounts, Middle Market and SmallBusiness segments
·Assists in the development of strategy in largecase RFP responses
·Coordinates marketing efforts such as mailers,e-mail communications and product updates
·To take responsibility to always actively treatcustomers fairly (TCF) and support / drive any TCF initiative
·Participate in events/seminars to have qualifiedsales leads
·Solution provision to with value highlights andoutstanding customer services
·Achieving growth and hitting sales targets bysuccessfully managing the sales team
·Designing and implementing a strategic salesplan that expands company’s customer base and ensure it’s strong presence
·Managing recruiting, objectives setting,coaching and performance monitoring of distribution channel
·Identify emerging markets and market shiftswhile being fully aware of new products and competition status
