Strategic Planner

Description:
Assists in the development of enterprise and business unit strategic plans. Works on cross-enterprise initiatives as assigned. Responsible for providing analysis, presentation and other support materials within areas of expertise; and supporting new and existing projects to support program design, implementation and execution.

Fundamental Components:
*Assists in the development of strategic/operational business, financial and expense plans.


*Conducts research associated with business issues and plan formulation.

*Monitor and report on performance relative to plans. Assists in the development of communication vehicles (e.g., *presentations, speeches).

*Assists in the development of issues relative to organization's strategic direction.

*Participate in development of consistent, efficient and cost effective processes, procedures and appropriate accountability.

*Participate in special projects that impact entire organization. Assists in management of organization's resources (e.g., staff, expenses, capital, assets).


*Develops & manages tactical operational project plans


*Assists with workflow development


*RAID log development management


*Assists with data validation


*Defines data requirements based on initiative goals


*Develops system documentation across platforms


*Project documentation & distribution


*Operational troubleshooting across platforms


*Gathers and organizes presentations & reporting


*Documents feedback to highlight short term and long term changes


*Shares long term productoptimization recommendations with Sr. PM


*Supports training development & delivery


*Performs root cause analysis, when required


*Covers/Facilitates meetings for Business Project Program Manager, when needed


*Supports full scale implementation development and execution

Background Experience:
*Demonstrated relationship management skills at peer level.

*Experience or course work developing detailed analysis, presentations and support material to successfully implement a project, strategy and/or change initiative.

*2+ years experience and exposure to any of the following technical/functional areas: management consulting, financial analysis, project management, public policy, mergers and acquisitions, operations management and/or marketing.

*Experience with small or mid-sized cross-functional initiatives, with a moderate degree of complexity.
