Sales Executive

Primary Location: Dallas, Texas
Additional Locations: TX-Dallas
New business sales for Aetna products and services in support of profitable growth and other business objectives. Develops and executes strategic business plans for strong small group accounts.

Acts as strategic business partner to customers and producers to optimize the positioning of Aetna’s products and services and to attain profitability and membership objectives.
Draws from entire spectrum of product line and seeks opportunities to execute cross-selling opportunities.
Works collaboratively within Aetna and across business functions to ensure customer needs are understood and key issues are addressed.
Coordinates resources to ensure a successful case installation of new products and services.

Background Experience:
2-3+ years industry experience.

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Insurance/General Lines Agent - Life, Accident Health & HMO is desired

Functional - Sales & Service/Fully insured products/1-3 Years
Functional - Sales & Service/Self insured/stop loss products/1-3 Years
Functional - Sales & Service/Distribution channel management/1-3 Years

Technical - Desktop Tools/Microsoft Outlook/1-3 Years/End User
Technical - Desktop Tools/Microsoft PowerPoint/1-3 Years/End User
Technical - Desktop Tools/Microsoft Word/1-3 Years/End User

Sales/Cultivating Distribution Channels/FOUNDATION
