POSITION SUMMARY
New business sales for Aetna products and services in support of profitable growth and other business objectives. Develops and executes strategic business plans for strong middle market accounts.

Fundamental Components:
Meets assigned sales objectives and seeks opportunities for profitable growth. Acts as strategic business partner to customers and producers to optimize the positioning of Aetnas products and services and to attain profitability and membership objectives. Draws from entire spectrum of product line and seeks opportunities to execute crosselling opportunities. Works collaboratively within Aetna and across business functions to ensure customer needs are understood and key issues are addressed. Coordinates resources to ensure a successful case installation of new products and services. Exhibits successful Account Executive Behaviors

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
2-3+ years industry experience.

EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Insurance/General Lines Life Account & Health License is desired


FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES
Functional - Sales & Service/Self insured/stop loss products/1-3 Years
Functional - Products-Medical/All Aetna Standard Plans/1-3 Years
