Responsibilities include monitoring, investigating, training/education, enforcement, reporting,collaborating and consulting with business leaders.

Position Summary/Mission

·Specialist Privacy Manager that applies advanced compliance, practical, analytical and communication skills to support,implement and develop compliance programs, processes and privacy by design.

·Privacy Manager for the company located in Singapore, with responsibility for India, Thailand and China region.

·Knowledge of Singapore privacy legislation essential.

·Knowledge of GDPR and international privacy compliance requirements desirable.

·Reports into the ‘Counsel, International Privacy’ (in the UK) and will be part of the International Privacy Team of 4 employees. International Privacy Team is part of the wider Group Privacy Team Of appx 45 employees.

Fundamental Components & Physical Requirements include but are not limited to

·Exhibits leadership in implementing an effective compliance program including but not limited to privacy impact assessments, gap analysis, auditing and monitoring, maintaining effective compliance policies and procedures, together with effective communication and training.

·Assure the appropriate protection and usage of all information processed by, stored in or transferred by the company, or by third parties such as outsourcing organizations acting on behalf of the company.

·Use privacy software to help maintain and drive compliance with international privacy legislation.

·Provides oversight of, and prepare, complex privacy impact assessments, breach reports, filings and follow-ups, and complex audit activities.

·Manages and investigates data breaches covering multiple jurisdictions.

·Manages and co-ordinates responses to applicable data subject rights including subject access requests, deletion requests etc.

·Leads complex implementation of privacy bydesign within the health insurance/healthcare sector including review of new products, software, international transfers and intra-group data sharing.

·Builds and maintains positive, productive relationships with internal and external individuals at all organizational levels. Co-ordinates and maintains consistent feedback from internal data champions.

·Identifies cross border transfers and co-ordinates and implements multi-jurisdictional transfers of personal data.

·Identifies needs and acts as resource for colleagues and effectively guides teams to accomplish complex goals.

·Adapts to shifting priorities, works well under pressure and adheres to deadlines.

Performance Measures

Background/Experience Desired

·5+ years’ experience as a Privacy Manager in healthcare, insurance or financial services or a relevant business area.

·IAPP certification or equivalent.

·Demonstrated Project Management skills.

Education and Certification Requirements

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
