Telephonic Case Manager

POSITION SUMMARY
Workers' Comp Telephonic Case Manager works with employee, provider, employer, claims examiner, and vendors to coordinate medical care and facilitate return to work (RTW).

Fundamental components include but are not limited to:

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE
-Registered Nurse (RN) with active state license in good standing in the state where job duties are performed required
-Willing to obtain a CA license or any license requested required
-Minimum of 3 years clinical practice experience required
-Additional national professional certification (CRC, CDMS, CRRN, COHN, or CCM) preferred, but not required. Must get within 2 years
-Previous workers compensation, case management, utilization review or managed care experience preferred.
-Strong analytical skills used to identify and resolve problems required
-Effective communications, organizational, and interpersonal skills required

EDUCATION
The minimum level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Associate's degree or equivalent experience.

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Nursing/Certified Case Manager is desired
Nursing/Nursing License is desired

FUNCTIONAL EXPERIENCES
Functional - Nursing/Case Management/1-3 Years

Telework Specifications:
Full Time work at home position, licensed RN from any compact state with that holds or has willingness to obtain a CA license and potentially more
