Senior Engagement Manager (WAH/Telecommute from WA, OR or ID)

Primary Location: Seattle, Washington
Additional Locations: ID-Boise, OR-Portland, WA-Seattle
Join a winning team focusing on transforming health care delivery and financing for a large national company committed to changing the health care landscape. The position is located in the Pacific Northwest and will be responsible for both commercial and Medicare Advantage Value Based provider engagements.

Fundamental Components:
Position is focusing on value based contracting and post-contract engagement designed to optimize performance for both provider organizations and Aetna. Major responsibilities include but not limited to:
- facilitating strategic discussions with leadership of key provider organizations focusing on vision and strategy for care delivery and financing,
- assessing provider capabilities in population health and clinical integration and aligning Aetna payment models,
- negotiating or supporting negotiations of value based agreements,
- uses clinical and claims data to find insight into performance improvements in cost and quality domains,
- leads joint operating committee and clinical meetings designed to optimize performance under contract,
- engages in internal and external discussions focusing on innovation in care delivery and payment reform,
- serves as a subject matter expert on industry and regulatory changes on care delivery and payment reform.

7+ years experience in provider or payer role focusing on population health, clinical integration, payment reform, value based contracting and improvement, quality improvement, and contract negotiations.
Experience with enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional large scale initiatives with high degree of complexity.
Demonstrated experience successfully implementing change in complex organizations.
Experience negotiating provider agreements strongly encouraged.
Ability to communicate at all levels of an organization including executives and clinicians.
Demonstrated relationship management skills at the senior level; capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization simultaneously.
Ability to lead innovation and best practices both internally and externally.

The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Part-Time Telework (ex: 2 days office-based, 3 days telework)
