The Senior Sales Account Executive responsibility includes initiating new sales opportunities coupled with growing existing accounts. This professional account executive is proficient in outbound calling, nurturing new prospects through closing, renewing and growing revenue in existing accounts. The prime candidate knows how to multi-task, organize their day between proactive and reactive behaviors and is proficient at moving a prospect through the entire sales cycle.
-Cultivates strong, productive and influential relationships with Public and Labor market brokers/consultants and prospects. -Implements strategies necessary to attain sales objectives in assigned areas. -Manages complex negotiations. -Positions products, rate levels and expanded product portfolios to increase sales and maximize revenue. -Manages the integration of client's and Aetna's internal organizations to meet client's installation needs and close the deal. -Identifies various ways to partner with the prospective client by drawing from entire spectrum of product line. -Gains understanding of client's multifaceted needs and recommends appropriate benefits of Aetna's full product array (e.g., fully vs. self-insured, combination of products and/or covers a range of industries). -Provides effective presentations to Aetna constituents. -Conducts field underwriting to insure profitability of case and minimize risk
Only those sales executives who can demonstrate proficiency in the healthcare industry, and a proven track record in sales should apply.
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
