Description: As an Aetna representative, develop and maintain relationships with the Church of Latter-Day Saints (LDS) ecclesiastical missions. Identify customer specific service issues, identify solutions and help resolve issues working with other areas to implement. Respond to customers’ requests for network analysis, benefit plan design changes and benefit questions and clarification. Help with day-to-day communications with missions in Portuguese and Spanish-speaking countries as well as with the corresponding partner companies (such as World Assist, SulAmerica, Sinergia Medica, Universales, and GMMI). Coordinate and assist with Medical Leave Assistance requests by communicating with missionaries and their families in Portuguese and Spanish speaking countries. Update member eligibility when needed for any of the above mentioned countries. Coordinate, prepare, and help moderate call meetings with partner companies to check on the progress of implementation of new services. Provide translation support on escalated Pre-Certification and Pre-Authorization requests. Liaise with internal business partners and assist on issues where all external communication has been provided in Portuguese and Spanish (claim issues, new business applications, etc.). Proof-read Portuguese and Spanish language communications prior to external distribution. Aid with handling day-to-day billing and eligibility issues as needed. Train new incoming Mission Presidents/Wives and/or Financial Secretaries on how to access care through the different network providers and explain the nuances of how to work with each different country. Update content on minisite created for our LDS customer for all the missions around the world. Implement Flu vaccination campaigns for more than 14K missionaries through corresponding partner companies in any of the above mentioned countries. Provide monthly training to local Medical Missionaries whom will serve missions around the world. Provide training once a year at Provo’s LDS Missionary Training Center to new group of Mission Presidents whom will serve missions in Portuguese and Spanish speaking countries. Telework opportunity.
