Additional Locations: FL-Plantation
Top leadership position responsible for the sales and operational functions of Carefree, a key national distribution partner for Aetna’s individual Medicare book of business. Develops and maintains relationships with brokers who market both Aetna’s Medicare products and the Medicare products of Aetna’s competitors. Role includes profit and loss responsibility for the book of business, responsibility for creating and executing strategic business plans, and collaborating and developing relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.

Fundamental Components:
Sets, communicates and ensures execution of the sales, geographic and operational strategies for the business
  • Ensures sales results and revenue generation objectives are met.
  • Cultivates and maintains strong relationships with carriers and brokers.
  • Working with market leads, creates and implements educational efforts for brokers/ potential Medicare members.
  • Analyzes the competitive environment for additional sales opportunities.
  • Partners with internal and external stakeholders, including team members, to adapt to a rapidly changing business environment to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Ensures internal processes have adequate controls to maximize revenue.
  • Ensures that go to market tactics are within regulatory compliance guidelines.
  • Recruits, attracts, retains and develops a diverse workforce to ensure all strategic plans are accomplished.

Background Experience:
Medicare product experience preferred.Over 5 years’ experience in sales management.Over 10 years’ experience sales in healthcare or managed care. Masters degree preferred.Licensure as required by state.Bachelor's degree.

Additional Job Information:
Agency Sales Management and Provider Relations experience is preferred.
