Pharmacy Service Managers develop and promote strategies and policies that enhance quality of pharmaceutical care in a cost effective manner to establish competitive business advantage for Aetna and CVS Health. Pharmacy Services Managers develop, implement, support, and promote Traditional and Specialty Pharmaceutical strategies, tactics, policies, and programs that drive the delivery of quality healthcare to establish competitive business advantage for Aetna and CVS Health.

Schedule is Monday-Friday standard business hours. No nights, no weekends and no holidays!



Fundamental Components:
  • Develop and/or align with CVS clinical policy criteria and clinical UM management programs that optimize quality of patient care and healthcare costs
  • Implements national clinical management programs through CHART and CPO for new to market pharmaceuticals, FDA label updates and Annual drug reviews.
  • Participates in External Consultant clinical reviews as appropriate
  • Proactively identifies opportunities for improvement within assigned initiatives.
  • Share joint accountability for initiatives return on investment


Background Experience:
Managed care experience is required
In-depth knowledge and experience in Specialty Formulary/Clinical UM criteria design, development and management within managed care / managed pharmacy / competitive environment required.
Minimum of 3 years clinical pharmacy/administrative experience or equivalent.
Proficient using MS office Suite applications.


LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS (one the two listed below is required)
Nursing/Registered Nurse (RN)
Pharmacy/Registered Pharmacist or PharmD
