Description:
Assist in the fulfillment of the Company's internal and external financial reporting obligations, internal control objectives and financial system design and operation. Maximize reinsurance recovery from the Arizona Health Care Cost Containment System (AHCCCS).

Fundamental Components:
  • Supervise the preparation, review, and reconciliation of subsidiary trial balance for AHCCCS reinsurance receivable.
  • Prepare monthly journal entries to record reinsurance receivable, reinsurance revenue and allowance of uncollectibles.
  • Monitor reinsurance reporting for accuracy.
  • Supervise team of three reinsurance analysts.
  • Oversee third party liability regulatory reporting and assure regulatory compliance. A
  • ssist with tasks as assigned.


Background Experience:
  • Prior supervisory experience or experience leading a project
  • 3-5 years of experience in accounting, finance or relevant positions
  • Strong technical skills, Microsoft Excel
  • Ability to work with large datasets; SQL a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent required
