Job Details

Sr Information Security Engineer

Primary Location: Phoenix, Arizona
Additional Locations: AZ-Phoenix, CO-Denver, CT-Hartford, MA-Burlington, PA-Blue Bell
Design, deploy and manage security technology in order to control risk to Aetna internal resources in accordance with established corporate security policy. Understand industry threats and the methods to apply appropriate controls. Responsible for engineering systems used to monitor and reportviolations of internal security standards. Interface with internal business leaders and subject matter experts to gatherrequirements, implement solutions, provide post implementation support, andgenerate documentation, processes, and procedures intended for long term use.

Fundamental Components:
Assures the security of application implementation and upgrades for compliance to corporate policy.
Defines and approves the security infrastructure strategy/architecture for all enterprise systems.
Consults on the security for all new IT projects to ensure policy and architecture compliance. Has responsibility for the creation of documentation and enforcement of security standards of Directory Services Design/support security model and administrative tools. Provides industry trending analysis and knowledge of upcoming security trends/threats.
Provides regulatory support for the Legal/Privacy office through interpretation of regulations and recommendations.
Provides support for internal and external audits, third party reviews of Aetna and RFP responses in support of Aetna Sales and Marketing efforts. Leads team members in security solution designs/projects.

Background Experience:
- Demonstrate
understanding of cross-functional/cross-domain requirements and impact.

- Maintain
knowledge of current and emerging technologies/products/trends related to
architectural solutions.

- Facilitate/lead/participate in identification of identity access solution options and features.
- Strong ability to communicate solution options
to business owners/stakeholders.

- Ensure alignment with enterprise technology
standards (e.g. solution patterns, application frameworks, technology roadmaps).

- Identify gaps between established standards and proposed solutions.Excellent
documentation and diagram.

- Strong Troubleshooting skills

Additional Job Information:
We are willing to fill this
position with a recent college graduate with a strong skill set and internship
experience or with a little more experienced candidate. Similar external titles
may be "Information Security Engineer”, “Privileged
Account Security Engineer”, Identity Access Engineer”.
