We are looking for an innovative and energetic Tableau Developer to play a key role in implementing Medicaid’s strategic reporting initiatives to drive business decisions. In this role you will have the opportunity to contribute to the success and development of our analytics function.
Candidate will be responsible for creating business solutions to improve the overall efficiency, productivity and management of operating organizations by developing Tableau dashboards to create visibility into data and performance trends along with administration of the Medicaid reporting platform.
This position is located in our Phoenix office (3 days in office with 2 days WAH). We will consider telework arrangements from any US location for the right candidate. In any event, the successful candidate must be adept at working on a virtual team with persons in multiple locations.
64789Fundamental Components: Designs, develops and implements Tableau-based analytical solutions to address business questions and improve health outcomes.
Use SQL Server to query, analyze and integrate healthcare data.
Develop, validate and execute algorithms, statistical models and clinical applications that answer applied research and business questions.
Supports and maintains reporting platform - Tableau Server administration
Implement process improvements in data sourcing, dashboard performance and product project lifecycle.
Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to discuss organizational needs and gather dashboard requirements
Supports as data visualization and Tableau Subject Matter Expert (SME) Background Experience: Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
3+ years of experience creating complex interactive Tableau dashboards.
2+ years of relevant health care data management and analytics experience.
Self-starter with a passion and aptitude for data visualization tools and technologies.
Loves telling stories with data.
SQL or SAS programming experience (e.g., SAS Base, SAS STAT, SAS Macros) in data warehouse or big data analytics environment, including use of statistical analysis techniques or business intelligence application development.
Ability to make sound decisions and recommendations to drive business solutions.
Ability to communicate statistical and technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in written and verbal form.
Team-player with ability to work collaboratively across functions in a fast-paced environment
Experience gathering requirements around KPI, metrics and analytical data collections
Bachelor's degree in Mathematics, Economics, Statistics, Computer Science, Actuarial Science, Healthcare or related discipline.
Tableau certification & healthcare analytics experience is preferred.
