The creation, analysis and reporting of financial information on both a GAAP and regulatory basis used to support both management decision making and/or communication to internal and external stakeholders and/or regulatory constituents as well as the setting and maintaining of accounting and internal control related policies.
-- Maintain systems and controls that verify the integrity and accuracy of all financial systems, processes, and data with the goal of enhancing the corporations value
-- Conduct all necessary analysis and research, prepare and assemble all required supporting documentation
-- Preparation of annual Form 990
-- Prepare regulatory reports adhering to all contractual reporting obligations
-- Prepare journal entries and supporting documentation for all affiliated entities
-- Preparation of Weekly Reporting to Management
-- Interface with auditors; assimilate and provide supporting documentation under the direction of Management
-- Prepare other ad-hoc reports as needed by Management
-- Prepare reconciliations for various accounts
-- Lead project meetings for multi department projects
Minimum Bachelors Degree in Accounting/Finance
4-6 years relevant experience
Advanced Excel experience required
Healthcare experience preferred
Great Plains experience preferred
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.

Incumbent needs the ability to perform detailed and disciplined work using standard methodologies in the analysis, development, evaluation, documentation, implementation, and support of accounting and business finance procedures. Incumbent must have advanced and meticulous organization and coordination, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Incumbent must be able to write correspondence, perform detailed analysis, and develop supporting documentation for accounting transactions; present information effectively in one-on-one and small group settings to organization employees; and use advanced reasoning to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Incumbent must be able to design, implement, and manage appropriate action plans and meet deadlines as established by Management. Advanced skills in mathematical applications are necessary. Excellent communication skills are required. Incumbent must be able to successfully utilize Great Plans, Excel, and other Microsoft Office suite functions and common computer and office hardware. Advanced interpersonal skills, maturity, and good judgment are required.This position is required to work efficiently under significant time and deadline pressures. Incumbent spends at least 50% of daily responsibilities working both one-on-one and in teams with other personnel and executive management. Incumbent will have extended one-on-one contact with other employees in a quiet environment where hearing and listening is paramount.
