Senior Sales Executive for Western, Central and Mid-Atlantic regions

The PayFlex Senior Sales Executive serves as key member of the PayFlex Business Development organization, responsible for developing and executing the growth strategy for their assigned market. Reporting to the Executive Director for Business Development, the Senior Sales Executive will partner closely with colleagues across Aetna and CVS Health to identify and productively engage plan sponsors, brokers/consultants and other potential strategic partners. Alongside such market development efforts, the Senior Sales Executive will work with PayFlex’s product & strategy, account management and implementation functions to pursue and close new business opportunities identified via such market development efforts.

Fundamental Components:

Build a strategic plan to engage internal partners, brokers/consultants, and plan sponsors via a formal market development process.
Establish authentic relationships with internal partners to support market development and prospecting efforts.
Operate as a subject-matter experts on Consumer Directed Healthcare industry and product issues.
Lead a multifunctional sales team and successfully direct the process from pipeline development through proposal development to finalist presentation, initial contracting and close.

Achieve assigned revenue and profitability growth objectives for assigned territory.
Build pipeline with at least a 4x coverage ratio through direct prospecting, partner engagement and intermediary calling. Successful candidate will be comfortable utilizing multi-channel engagement (email, cold calling, etc) as the basis for discrete campaigns in their assigned market.
Serve as the “face of PayFlex” and an acknowledged CDH expert with key internal and external stakeholders across assigned market.
Develop and implement a tailored marketing plan to elevate the PayFlex brand with plan sponsors, brokers/consultants and related industry stakeholders and delivering concrete ROI in terms of new opportunities (short term) and new business revenue (medium to long term).
Coordinate sales materials, testimonials and subject matter expert involvement in support of the successful delivery of constituent presentations.
Deliver presentations and moderate panels across a variety of forums/topics in support of market development and new business pursuit/closure (e.g. PayFlex overview, market updates and finalist meetings).
May participate in constituent meetings including finals presentations.

Background Experience:

Qualifications/Requirements of the job:

10+ years of experience managing complex sales into the benefits / compensation space
Consistent record of exceeding assigned sales targets
Strong existing network of key stakeholders across the benefits administration and broker / consultant landscape
Formally trained in industry-recognized strategic selling techniques Understanding of strategic selling techniques
Expert communicator (orally and in writing) with both internal and external parties.
Expert in the use Salesforce to manage the ongoing sales effort.
Frequent travel (including overnight), as dictated by business needs

The Geographical Locations are the Western region (AZ, CA, NV, WA), the Central region (TX, NE,IL, TN) and Mid-Atlantic (MD, CT, ME, NY).
