Information Security Advisor

Description:
Exciting opportunity at CVS Health to join our Information Security team. This role will interact with customers, auditors and regulators on CVS Health’s security and IT controls environment to assure them that the member data is secured and protected. Additionally, facilitate security focused industry and regulatory assessments as well as support various audit programs and projects.

Fundamental Components:
• Provides IT/security support and expert advice to various sales/business units based on fast-paced customer needs, 3rd party assessments, and RFP/RFIs.
• Manages the completion of a wide variety of regulatory and industry assessments such as NIST, Shared Assessments, HIPAA, etc.
• Lead and facilitate onsite visits with auditors and assessors. Includes all required pre-planning and preparation activities, day of event(s) coordination and execution, and post-event management and issue resolution.
• Proactively builds network and relationships internally within IT, security, legal, compliance and the business, as well as externally with customers, auditors and regulators.
• Supports department goals and objectives including but not limited to continuous process improvements and accomplishment of internal projects.
• Continuously grows and expands Cybersecurity, Audit, and IT Controls background and applies expertise to the function.



Background Experience:
• Seeking candidates with strong Cybersecurity, Audit and IT Infrastructure backgrounds who are comfortable working in extremely fast-paced, regulatory driven environments.
• Seeking candidates with strong background in regulatory and industry assessments such as NIST, ISO, Shared Assessments, PCI, NYS DFS, etc.
• Seeking candidates who excel in small, team-based settings but can also work independently to complete requirements.
• Strong communication experience is a must with an ability to think and solve problems on the spot quickly, precisely and effectively. Presentation experience is preferred.
• Analytical capabilities are strongly desired, especially to analyze intricate IT/security policy, procedure and control requirements and industry methodologies.
• Technical program management experience is desired for running multiple security and audit-based projects concurrently.


Education:
Information Management - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - - sponsored by International Information Systems Security Certification Consortium
