The GMHSU Services Coordinator position is responsible for the oversight of the scope of work for the contracted GMHSU providers within Mercy Care's Network. This includes routinely participate in meetings and collaborate with system partners to include members and families, stakeholders and regulatory bodies to discuss access to care, service needs, gaps and barriers, and review information and data towards continuous quality improvement of the system of service delivery.
  • Provide support/technical assistance as needed.
  • Discuss regulatory initiatives and monitoring related to GSOC.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders as needed based on member needs or satisfying regulatory compliance.
  • Routinely convene GMH/SU provider leadership and management to collaboratively discuss access to care, service needs, gaps and barriers, and review information and data towards continuous quality improvement of the system of service delivery.
  • Provide support/technical assistance as needed.
  • Routinely convene GMH/SU providers collectively to discuss system level data trends and identify system-level solutions.
  • Routinely convene focused GMH/SU providers to discuss specific level of care access to care, service needs, gaps and barriers, review information and data towards continuous quality improvement, discuss implementation of evidence-based practices and fidelity measures.
  • Invites GMH/SU providers, members and families to QM committee meetings, Member Advocacy meetings and Adult Community Forums to discuss their insights to data trends and system issues; invite them to participate in problem solving, as appropriate.
  • Additionally, this position specifically monitors medication assisted treatment (MAT) and Substance Use Residential Providers (SUD-Resi)


Fundamental Components:
  • Provides input on strategic plan to achieve goals.
  • Proactively leads assigned project by creating project timeline, identifying key milestones and additional resources needed to successfully complete the work.
  • Assists with the management of internal relationships, processes and performance drives (in some cases relationships may be external).
  • Ensures compliance to the scope of work.
  • Provides technical assistance to providers as needed.
  • Directs meetings to support provider and member needs.
  • Participation in Joint Operations Committee meetings.
  • Assists with fidelity development and monitoring.
  • Assists with oversight of Substance Use Residential and MAT providers.
  • May solicit and evaluate internal and external customer feedback to enhance continuous quality improvement.
  • May identify gaps and recommend enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization.
  • Develops recommendations based on complex data and root cause analysis.
  • May serve as a Subject Matter Expert.


Background Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree Required, Master's Preferred
  • Proven track record meeting project dates.
  • 3-5 years related work experience.
