This is an exciting opportunity to be part of the Finance Service Delivery - Account Reconciliation Center of Excellence Team. Aetna is in the midst of a finance transformation and opportunities to improve processes
and have an influence on the direction of the company abound. The Center of Excellence team focuses on streamlining and optimizing the reconciliation process. The goal is to consolidate and migrate reconciliation from across business units to this team to leverage on technology and skill set focused on reconciliations.
61279Fundamental Components: Performs more complex financial reporting requiring advanced analytical and technical skills May serve as Subject Matter Expert for the business unit participating in and sometimes leading special projects and ad hoc reporting requests as needed Provides data and analysis to support the unit's mission Assists with analysis of key components of financial results and address questions as needed Supports financial information requests from business unit management May serve as team lead providing guidance and training to less experienced staff members Background Experience:
• 3-5 years relevant experience in accounting.
• Prior experience leading a
project team required
• 3-5 year of experience in reporting financial
information on both GAAP and regulatory.
• Excellent verbal and written
• Self initiating, highly motivated individual comfortable
working entrepreneurial environment.
• Possess strong analytical skills and be
• Strong Excel and technical skills
Ability to manipulate large amount of data into concise analytical reports.
Work independently with business areas to compile information.
Influence people within areas of responsibility.
Aetna business knowledge (outside department business).
PC skills in Excel, Access.
Comprehensive business knowledge
