Domain Architect/Lead Analyst (Telework)Primary Location: Phoenix, AZ

A person acting in this role must be a good facilitator and have excellent communication skills. The Domain Architect/Lead Analyst also needs to have the ability to comprehend and make sense of a large body of knowledge (i.e. IT technologies and the business as well) and contribute to the development of models/solutions that capture this information alongside key IS Partners. Excellent knowledge of the business domain or business line is therefore essential, along with an extensive knowledge of IT technologies used to support the HEDIS process. The line/domain architect needs to be familiar with the tools used to capture the models of the architecture and with the main technological aspects of potential solutions. Acting as the functional lead for the team and supporting our member health plans is also key.
The person in this role should be prepared to:
- Use advanced SQL for troubleshooting data for the member health plans.
- provide creative solutions for complex data issues.
- Assess the situation of the quality/HEDIS domain/line.
- Understand the domain's or line's requirements, strategies and goals.
- Understand the current enterprise architecture and business line architecture.
- Contribute to the modeling of the target domain/line architecture.
- Contribute and lead business re-engineering efforts, if needed.
- Understand the technical sides of the solutions.
- Contribute with IT in defining the IT architectures and solution approaches necessary to the business domain.
- Act as the functional lead for senior/junior analysts on the team.
- Mentor other analysts on the team.
- Develop training materials for the team.
(*) Must have recent functional experience in the HEDIS lifecycle process.
(*) Must have experience interacting with HEDIS auditors.
(*) Experience creating complex solutions to business problems.
(*) Minimum 6-9 years of experience working with data sets or related functional business experience, preferably within the healthcare IT portion of the health insurance domain, demonstrating high proficiency in the competencies noted.
(*) Experience using HEDIS engine software.
(*) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Public Health, Health Care Informatics, Risk Management, or Insurance.
(*) Advanced degree preferred but not required.
