Complete monthly accounting close process, account reconciliations as well as complete/manage quarterly Medicaid State Reporting.
We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented accountant to join our growing organization. In this position, you will handle all accounting operations within the company, as well the creation, analysis and reporting of financial information on both a GAAP and regulatory basis to support both management decisions making and/or communication to internal or external stakeholders and/or regulatory constituents, as well as the setting and maintaining of accounting and internal control related policies.verify financial records and transactions.Duties also include ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all of our accounting tasks.
*Coordinate and supervise higher risk and more complex Accounting/Finance activities and functions;
*Develop, implement and monitor control policies and procedures;
*Implement change so as to create efficiencies and improve processes;
*Oversee more complex functions that likely require broader cross enterprise knowledge and accountability;
*Communication with as well as managing reporting to external regulatory constituents
*3-5 years relevant experience.
*Healthcare industry experience.
LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS
Finance/Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is desired
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
Functional - Finance/Financial reporting and analysis - GAAP reporting/
Functional - Finance/Financial and accounting policy/
Functional - Finance/Financial reporting and analysis - internal control/
Technical - Desktop Tools/TE Microsoft Excel//End User
