Financial Planning & Analysis Director

Primary Location: Philadelphia, PA
Additional Locations: PA-Philadelphia
The Financial Director will be responsible to implement a defined management process for driving best practices within functions of responsibility. The Director is accountable for the effective implementation and monitoring of financial functions that supports the business units' financial plans. May participate in those projects that impact all functional disciplines (non-financial) of the company.

Fundamental Components:
  • Monitor financials for the business unit; Evaluate and analyze the financial impact of key business strategies
  • Direct the evaluation of business area projects, challenging financial resources, resolving expense savings
  • Support the coordination and development of business unit financial plans and forecasts;
  • Oversee Medicaid State reporting; Coordinate multiple audits related to financials and state reporting;
  • Oversee the implementation of effective processes for achieving business goals;

Background Experience:
  • 5-10 years financial management experience including strategic and business planning, accounting, state and internal reporting and financial analysis.
  • Project management experience a plus, including leading project teams
  • Experience in healthcare, managed care insurance or financial services preferred.
  • Bachelor’s Degree; Finance or Accounting degree required
  • Advanced degree in Business and/or FSA/CPA preferred.

Additional Job Information:
Influence areas outside of direct control; PC skills in Microsoft Suite, including Excel & Outlook, is mandatory; PC skills in Access & SQL(database) preferred; Comprehensive finance knowledge
