Answers questions and resolves issues based on phone calls/letters from brokers and internal supporting. Triages resulting rework to appropriate staff. Documents and tracks contacts with brokers and internal supporting staff.
Taking accountability to fully understand the broker’s needs by building a trusting and caring relationship with the broker.
Anticipates customer needs. Provides the customer with related information to answer the unasked questions.
Uses applicable system tools and resources to produce quality letters and spreadsheets in response to inquiries received.
Data entry, processing of Medicare contracts, appointments and verification of certification for external producers/agents to be eligible to market Medicare plans. May supplement the background check review and documentation process as well.
Extreme attention to detail in review and documentation • Highly organized • Interest in learning the basics of law and the Department of Insurance rules and Regulations • Ability to be the go between for the agents and the review team • Good researcher • Ability to articulate expectations of Aetna legal department and relay them back to an insurance agent.Background Experience: Customer Service experiences in a transaction based environment such as a call center or retail location preferred, demonstrating ability to be empathetic and compassionate.Experience in a production environment. High School or GED equivalent. Additional Job Information: Ability to multi-task to accomplish workload efficiently. Understanding of medical terminology. Oral and written communication skills.
