Fundamental Components:
Aetna Digital's ActiveHealth Management team is looking for a Technical Product Ownerfor the Incentives Platform.


Incentives is a behavior change product that enables employers to promote engagement and deliver reward programs to motivate employees and families to improve their health.
For example, an employee can earn dollars or gift certificates by participating in digital coaching or undertaking physical activities.
The product includes a variety of components like a data intake and fulfillment flows, a dashboard, sponsor reporting, and an underlying rules engine.

ROLE:
The Incentives Platform team is currently seeking a Product Owner to lead the delivery team on its core engine.
The team has a powerful opportunity to innovate behavior change solutions to improve the lives of millions.
As a Product Owner, you will work in a fast-paced environment, collaborating with other Product Owners and Product Managers in a fully scaled agile practice.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Lead a cross-functional delivery team to thoughtfully evolve complex software systems under the guidance of the Incentives Platform Product Manager
Partner closely internal stakeholders to shape the strategic direction of the product
Participate in relative value discussions, balancing a spectrum of interests (internal, external, short-term, long-term) to yield the highest value roadmap
Research and write requirements to enable efficient delivery of high quality solutions
Draw upon your creativity, curiosity and experience to help the team evolve its craft, culture and ambitions
Represent the team as a key liaison to the rest of the organization


Background Experience:
5+ years of experience as a Product Owner or senior Business Analyst on complex data products and/or rule based systems
Experience working closely with engineering and product management to establish overall product vision, manage and prioritize the product backlog,
translate business requirements into user stories and tasks, communicate status, and validate solutions
Strong communication skills, including an ability to write business-level requirements through stories, wireframes, and flows
Demonstrated experience driving agile product development and ability to thrive in a fully SAFe-Agile enterprise development environment
Excellent conceptual, analytical and strategic thinking skills and a curiosity to learn and optimize complex systems at scale
Strong technical acumen, and willingness to dive into the details, including writing SQL queries and participating in database and data modelling decisions
Experience developing a services- or API-based product, including the associated administrative considerations (evolution, documentation, etc.)
Demonstrated ability to work effectively on teams within a highly collaborative environment,and the interest, aptitude, and initiative to help increase the team's quality and velocity through continuous agile maturity
