POSITION SUMMARY


Strategic marketing professional to lead marketing strategy, planning and execution for all new Medicaid markets. Works with a cross-functional team including Medicaid business partners, Enterprise Marketing, Enterprise Intelligence, Community Outreach and others to develop and execute on new market marketing strategy including but not limited to potential membership analysis, competitor landscape, strategic account planning, creative and media agency management, ad campaign execution, monitoring and reporting.

With Medicaid managed care experience this marketer works with the Medicaid business and the markets to ensure strategies and decisions address applicable market expectation including membership growth and retention, member engagement and compliance needs. This person works collaboratively to drive resolution for decisions; problem solve and ensure process excellence throughout the new marketing plan development.

Marketer leads tactical marketingrequests and execution for new market. Works collaboratively with the marketingoperations teams to ensure marketing strategy is within compliance guidelinesand meets business objectives to the new market.

Fundamental Components:

-Leads client marketing relationship with new market

-Execute on new market strategies including communication planning objectives

-Proactive in advising multiple communications strategies for business area(s) by applying advanced principles,theories and concepts.

-Contributes to the development of new creative and concepts.

-Consults with customer(s), including Senior Management, on marketing/ communications initiatives

-Projects or forecasts future internal or external needs, which involves latitude for decision-making and priority setting.

-Is assigned long-range projects and reviewed through achievement of objectives according to pre- defined goals.Develops communications strategies and sets direction and tone on communications projects.


BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
7+ years of progressive experience in marketing or related field.
Experience in Product, Marketing, Brand Management, Agencies, or Consulting roles.
B2B and/or B2C experience.
Experience in program, project, and vendor management.
Strategic marketing professional with 7-10 years experience
Medicaid managed care experience preferred
Requires advanced knowledge and specialized expertise in at least one communication discipline and experience in one of several sub-disciplines (may include media/public relations, internal/executive communications, public affairs, and marketing or community relations).

EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
