Description:
POSITION SUMMARY
You will work with the marketing, sales, and product teams to identify and evaluate potential value-added benefits that ensure Aetna's Medicare, Medicaid, and Public & Labor employee and retiree plans do more than simply take care of people when they are sick. For example, you may explore ways to help low income people improve their career prospects and work with our Medicaid Business Development and Community Development teams to craft approaches that help state governments provide greater support for their most vulnerable residents.

Fundamental Components:
We are looking for someone who is passionate: passionate about helping people on their path to better health; passionate about helping Medicare members and prospects age actively; passionate about helping Medicaid members and prospects get more out of life; passionate about helping people turn their health ambitions, big and small, into achievements; and passionate about inspiring and guiding Aetna colleagues to think creatively about how best to make meaningful differences in people's lives.

Responsibilities will include:

Being an indispensable strategic partner to product development, sales, and marketing leadership by applying deep knowledge of the Medicare, Medicaid, and Public & Labor health plan categories and human behavior (including members, prospects, caregivers, and key influencers) to inspire and guide the development of innovative solutions that drive business results.

Being a thought leader and champion the role consumer understanding can play in identifying opportunities to show how Aetna's total approach to health and wellness can make a meaningful difference within communities and with individuals, such as tackling the Social Determinants of Health and helping Seniors pursue the life they love. Leading the process of developing and delivering on annual learning agendas. Ensuring the wide distribution of intelligence and insights: proactively connecting key partners with relevant insights.

Educating the business and marketing on existing knowledge and resources.

Driving continued innovation in the acquisition of new insights.

Strong project management skills, including successful budget management, procurement, and seamlessly bridging internal team members and vendor partners
