Description:
The Senior Clinical Solutions Medical Director will support Group Medicare Sales and Retention. Provide support for Medicare account teams to grow business and retain existing business. Works in close alignment with care management teams and matrixed medical management for a region or segment.

Fundamental Components:
Overall accountability and responsibility for Medicare Group Sales Clinical Activities.

Must have a solid knowledge about Medicare.

Provide support and assistance along with other team members to Medicare sales and account management teams to grow and retain the group business.

Provide guidance to the regional care management teams and matrix medical management support teams to achieve utilization management goals.

Support MDCR Sales and Account management teams to grow and maintain business.

Responsible for meeting utilization goals and collaborates with internal partners.


Background Experience:
3-5 years of experience in the health care delivery system e.g., clinical practice and health care industry.

Demonstrated ability to make strategic decisions based on a thorough understanding of industry issues, trends and the regulatory landscape.

Create business strategy to drive competitive advantage and shift direction as market conditions dictate; interact with external constituents.
