SUMMARY

Thisposition will play a tech lead role within the data science team to develop aworld class experimentation, optimization and personalization platform. Thecandidate will lead a team of data scientists to develop analytics module witha full suite of A/B testing features, build machine leaning models to providereal time next best action for users and create a self learning optimizationengine.


This is a unique opportunity towork on new transformation initiatives with CVS Health as a result of therecent company merger


This role will be responsible for:

  • Technical leadership and mentoring
  • Be a tech lead for the team, mentors team members and champions
  • 360-feedback across team Motivates team members and probes into technical detail
  • Guide the team to decide the right statistical methodology and algorithm for the analysis
  • Help design analytics approach with scalability and productionalization in mind
  • Experience with experimentation design and analysis
  • Apply and innovate with statistical methods to reduce the time and data volume needed to draw reliable conclusions from experimental changes to the product
  • Design and build mechanisms to summarize the interpretations and conclusions of experiments
  • Design and develop analytics module and ML Model
  • Develops and/or uses advanced algorithms and statistical predictive models and determines analytical approaches and modeling techniques to evaluate scenarios and potential future outcomes
  • Build recommendation engines to surface the next best action for the user
  • Build reinforcement leaning based optimization engines to allocate users to the best performing variants
  • Develop proof-of-concepts and prototypes as necessary to showcase new models and analytical offerings to partners and customer

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:

  • 2+ years of experience in being a tech lead for a Data Science team Lead a team
  • 7+ years of relevant work experience within eCommerce, digital analytics, insurance, finance or other related fields Have a strong understanding of experiment design and advance methodologies to run more experiments and get results faster without compromising data quality
  • 7+ years experience in statistical data analysis, model evaluation, ETL, and building machine learning models.
  • Experience with big data, using Spark, Hadoop and Hive.
  • Advanced in-depth specialization in mathematical analysis methods, statistical analyses, and predictive modeling Expertise in using R, Python.
  • PySpark to manipulate large data sets and develop statistical models
  • Excellent problem solving skills, critical thinking and conceptual thinking abilities
  • Superior skills to effectively communicate technical ideas and results to non-technical clients in written and verbal form
  • Ability to negotiate and manage interactions across the business and project stakeholders
  • Experience regularly working collaboratively with others to solve problem

  • Lead team of 2-3 Data Scientists on the development and delivery of predictive analytics solutions to drive behavior change or customer experience across channels
  • Consults with business partners to understand problems and goals, understand business value, and translate into business opportunities to be captured through predictive analytics solutions

  • Supports deployment of insights across multiple channels, i.e., web, mobile app, email, social, call center, Apple watch
