Accountable for supporting the implementation and ongoing project management of the DSNP expansion and operations. Expansion typically impacts multiple areas that require effective communication and cross-functional leadership.

Fundamental Components:
(*) Communicate, influence and work with multiple cross functional teams driving DSNP strategic initiatives to achieve the DSNP business goals
(*) Proactively support and lead initiatives by setting direction of project, creating project plan, timeline identifying key milestones and additional resources needed on selected project(s)
(*) Identify gaps and recommend enhancements related to new and/or existing products, services and workflows based on broad view of the organization
(*) Facilitate and drive conversations and decisions bringing together the right stakeholders
(*) Proactively identify issues that may stall an initiative and address them by either resolving the issue or creating an alternative solution or escalating to the proper leaders
(*) Track progress and communicate project(s) status on a regular basis to all impacted parties
(*) Build communication plans for implementation to ensure all impacted parties (upstream/downstream) are informed of next steps for completion

Candidates in the eastern or central time zone are strongly preferred.


Background Experience:
(*) Previous experience (5-7 years) in Medicare and leading strategic initiatives

(*) Solid Project Management skills, including a proven track record in meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources

(*) Able to effectively coordinate multiple projects and programs in a matrix environment and work independently

(*) Proficiency with standard corporate software applications, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint, and especially MS Project

(*) Strong critical thinking skills

(*) Excellent consulting and leadership skills

(*) Excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills

(*) Proven ability to affect change/interpersonal skills



Additional Job Information:
Must have Medicare experience and ideally DSNP experience. Team leadership and team building skills.Analytical and planning skills.Negotiation/influencing skills.Relationship and change management skills.Organizational skills.Time management skills.Critical thinking skills.Oral and written communication skills.
