Description:
The Hybrid Cloud Enablement organization leads the end-to-end delivery and operations of cloud services to the CVS Health enterprise. Within HCE, the Senior Advisor, Hybrid Cloud Operations Financial Management will be responsible for developing and implementing repeatable processes to ensure business units are accurately charged for their consumption of cloud resources. This role ensurescloud consumption charges are accurately allocated to the respective business unit, billed on a monthly basis, while providing regular consumption updates along with trending analysis to leadership across various areas of the enterprise. Looking for seasoned professional with an understanding of various cloud services (well versed in the Apptio platform a plus), and is looking for a greenfield opportunity to build processes and procedures from the ground up.

Fundamental Components:
  • Develops knowledge of cloud infrastructure usage by internal customers and affiliates within CVS Health. Maintains a high level of commitment to, and focus on, customer requirements.
  • Oversees the reporting/internal billing reporting for cloud consumption by CVS Health business units and affiliates. Uses this information to drive customer conversations and develop optimization plans.
  • Partners with IT Finance to properly distribute charges and recover expenses associated with Cloud service consumption.
  • Identifies need for,and evaluates best-practice use of cloud operations, financial and reporting tools.
  • Provides executive overviews of and regular operations reviews, including performance reporting and improvement/progress in the above areas.
  • Partners with Hybrid Cloud Engineering and the broader infrastructure organization to realize identified enhancements and plan for future investments.


Background Experience:
5+ years of experience leading billing and chargeback efforts for IT related costs and has a working knowledge of various cloud technologies including IaaS, PaaS, and software-as-a-service. Proven track record of working with and managing engineering and technical teams to realize change. Very strong financial acumen and analysis skills and executive communication. Proven ability to work in a collaborative manner with partners inside and outside of the organization.Demonstrated teamwork, positive attitude and good rapport with peers and customers. Ability to multi task in a fast paced continually changing environment.High-energy, creativity and inventiveness to devise new ways of sharing information and building customer rapport.
