Director of International Medical Economics - 61431BR

Primary Location: Hartford, CT
Additional Locations: CT-Hartford, FL-Miami, FL-Tampa, GA-Atlanta, PA-Blue Bell
A senior leadership position responsible for leading a Medical Economics organization. Develops and manages high-performance teams with a proven ability to lead people to success. Provides leadership in managing overall medical costs, directs regional medical cost action plans, and designs KPIs metrics for business partners that are accountable for implementation of action plans.

Fundamental Components:
Responsible for building expertise in provider contracting by leading the design, development, and distribution of database tools and applications to efficiently measure, monitor, and/or forecast medical cost structure. Develops and presents actionable recommendations for utilization and unit cost management to business partners based on analysis. Partners with Actuarial, Underwriting, Network, Clinical and Operations leaders to establish implementation strategy of action items.

Background Experience:
8+ years experience in managed care analytics and risk management. Understanding of internal and external database applications. Bachelor's degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or other related field.
