Senior Strategic Planner (Data Analytics)

Primary Location: Los Angeles, CA
Additional Locations: CA-Los Angeles, CA-Woodland Hills
The Strategic Planner will assist in the development of enterprise and business unit strategic plans for unit cost market performance.

Responsible for providing analysis, guidance and direction within areas of expertise; and developing relationships with external consultants and cross-functional team members as required in support of initiatives.

Address problems of a short to mid-term nature with limited supervision and develops capacity to address longer-term issues. Works on cross-enterprise initiatives as assigned.

Fundamental Components:
Deep understanding of the California delegated capitated model;

Lead formulation, preparation and communication of strategic/operational business, financial and expense plans;

Conducts research associated with business issues and plan formulation;

Monitor and report on performance relative to plans performance, trends and unit cost; strong data analytics;

Stimulate strategic thinking in support of business direction;

Communication vehicles (e.g., presentations, speeches);

Develop issues relative to organization's strategic direction;

Ensure consistent, efficient and cost effective processes, procedures and appropriate accountability;

Manage special projects that impact entire organization;

Effectively manages organization's resources (e.g., staff, expenses, capital, assets).


Background Experience:
5+ years experience preferred in industry in California market.

Demonstrated relationship management skills at peer levels within an organization and external constituents.

Demonstrated experience developing analysis, presentations and support material to successfully implement strategy or change initiatives.

Experience with small or mid-sized cross-functional initiatives, with a moderate degree of complexity.

Masters degree preferred, but not required. College degree or equivalent work experience.
