About the role
Fit for the Future is the global transformation program for Aetna International. Our Fit for the Future program has the aim for improving foundational processes primarily through automation and digitisation to enable rapid, profitable growth.
Championed by the President of Aetna International and the Vice President of the Strategy and Program Management Office as the Executive Sponsor, this is a critical program to deliver our strategy. This is a unique opportunity to gain international exposure and transform our business – as a result, the rewards can be huge.
Achieving our vision will require behavioural and structural change throughout the organisation – so creating the right organisational setting is key. As the Regional Champion you will be responsible for cultivating that change, supporting the embedment and success of the program.
Your typical day will include:
•Implementing the transformation agenda and driving progress of the program in the regions across, down and up the organisation
•Driving the digitization culture agenda across teams and regions
•Create and maintain regular communication strategies and channels
•Training and empowering the workforce to move towards a continuous improvement mindset
•Driving adoption of automation and digitization within the organisation
•Supporting the business with restructuring where necessary
What you’ll need
•Previous experience of working within a consulting house
•Under-graduate degree essential, post graduate desirable
•Operations, Project, Change experience at a management level
•A collaborative approach with a focus on bringing people with you
•Experience working within the insurance sector highly desirable
•You’ll be a change champion, demonstrating great leadership and people engagement
•You’ll be a clear, concise and influential communicator
•You’ll be expert in dealing with senior stakeholders
•Flexibility to travel overseas on a regular basis
