About the role

Fit for the Future is the global transformation program for Aetna International. Our Fit for the Future program has the aim for improving foundational processes primarily through automation and digitilisation to enable rapid, profitable growth.

Championed by the President of Aetna International and the Vice President of the Strategy and Program Management Office as the Executive Sponsor, this is a critical program to deliver our strategy. This is a unique opportunity to gain international exposure and transform our business – as a result, the rewards can be huge.


Your typical day will include:

•Undertaking region by region diagnostics and assessment of the strategy and capabilities to the deliver the strategy.

•Curating and coordinating cross-functional teams

•Preparing summary reports for board level presentations

•Developing the methodology for diagnostics

•Developing a culture of continuous improvement


What you’ll need

•Previous experience of working within a consulting house

•Under-graduate and post graduate degree is essential

•Operations experience in a health insurance firm is desirable

•You’ll be a clear, concise and influential communicator

•You’ll be expert in dealing with senior stakeholders

•You’ll have a strong, analytical mindset

•An ability to recognise complex problems vs objectives and apply creativity to develop solutions

•Flexibility to travel overseas on a regular basis
