Description:
The Creative & Design Manager takes the lead in designing and producing unique and compelling content in a clean and sophisticated visual language for both digital and print formats -- pairing design and messaging. Project examples include digital interactive guides, print marketing materials, HTML emails. Expertise and mastery in Adobe Suite are expected along with a fundamental understanding of web design technologies such as HTML and CSS.

Main responsibilities:
Design Management
  • Develop concepts, artwork, layouts and presentations for a variety of creative projects; adheres to branding guidelines.
  • Attention to detail with emphasis on accuracy and quality, and a critical eye for design aesthetics with proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple projects under tight deadlines.
  • Daily collaboration with cross-functional teams at all levels of the department including Creative, Traffic, Production and Client Services to meet customer objectives.
  • Participates in brainstorming/concept sessions.
  • Maintains and shares up-to-date knowledge on industry technology and trends with the rest of the creative team.
Additional responsibilities include:
Project Management: develops and delivers communication strategies that meet the needs of the customer. Serves as the customer’s point person for all their communication needs. Proactively shares project results and best practices with the creative team for ongoing staff development. Recommends process improvements and enhancements.

Traffic Management: an expert in monitoring challenging project schedules and timelines. Must have the ability to multitask, organize and juggle a wide variety of project requests. Strong decision-making and prioritization skills and the ability to assign resources based on level of creative need, project type, and experience. The candidate must exude efficiency and energy to fit in a fast-paced environment that is constantly reacting to evolving business needs.



Background Experience:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Graphic Design combined with an outstanding creative portfolio, minimum of 5-7 years of experience in a digital/print marketing or digital/print agency environment.
