This position is responsible for establishing and maintaining strong provider relationships with Medicare PCPs contracted under risk agreements. Recruiting and contracting PCPs to ensure network adequacy and marketability under risk models is also a key focus for this position.
The successful candidate will have an opportunity to establish and maintain existing and new provider relationships with PCPs contracted for Medicare under risk models. Provider engagement includes monthly meetings, site visits, and routine verbal and written communications. Additional opportunities include interaction with interdepartmental teams with an emphasis on Medicare PCP support and coordination and delivery of contractual performance data.
This position offers opportunities to apply contracting knowledge and skills through recruitment and contract negotiation activities within assigned areas of responsibility. Maintaining network adequacy and marketability through provider partnerships are another area of key focus.
The candidate will work in a strong team-oriented environment as a valued team member and an individual contributor.
Strong relationship building skills.
PCP Medicare risk contracting experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication experience.
Bi-lingual highly desired
Knowledge of HEDIS and STARS
Knowledge of local market dynamics
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
