Technology/Program Architect

Primary Location: Hartford, Connecticut

Description:
Partners with the development, specification and communication of Aetna’s architecture and technology plans. Included are the Business, Conceptual, Data, Application and Technical architectures. Facilitates the establishment and progress of Technology Lifecycle Management. Helps manage the Technology Lifecycle Management program and instruments the establishment of key meetings with stakeholders.

Fundamental Components:
Researches and proposes technical strategies.
Studies and documents architectural frameworks and reference material.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, a proven collaborator, passionate about organizing people and teams, and an excellent communicator and has strong project manager capabilities.
You should also have intuitive business sense and be able to see the big picture while going deep into the details.
Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills required.

Background Experience:
-Experience with architectural abstractions and design patterns.
-Minimum of 3 years recent and related experience in information systems development or implementation
-Very strong communication, facilitation, organization and leadership skills.
-Experience with process/workflow methodology a plus.
-Experience with Quickbase, Archer and Mega technologies a plus.
-Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience.

Additional Job Information:
This job belongs to the organization that drives the CVS Health Technology Lifecycle Management program. This facilitates the identification, evaluation, adoption and operational aspects of technology for the company. This position requires facilitation and management of technology across the various lifecycle stages and work with stakeholders to identify and resolve issues. Knowledge of tooling used within this program is required but willing to train.
