Strategic Marketing Specialist

Primary Location: Hartford, CT
Additional Locations: CT-Hartford
Responsible for developing marketing strategies, plans, and campaigns focused on the Commercial Specialty Dental and Vision businesses.

Fundamental Components:
Plans and executes effectively and efficiently in alignment with strategic goals. Serves as a guide to business partners through initiatives as a SME implementing marketing programs and plans to support client goals. Collaborates with other subject matter experts and stakeholders to meet project requirements. Works with marketing leadership to determine execution steps for marketing campaigns. Provides informal guidance to colleagues; responsible for portions of projects with guidance and direction. Contributes to the resolution of problems; analyzes possible solutions using expertise, judgment and precedents. Identifies obstacles, secures relevant information, and identifies possible causes and solutions. Acts as an advisor and uses marketing skills to contribute to the development of strategic company objectives.

Background Experience:
  • 3+ years of progressive experience in marketing or a related field.
  • Experience in program, project, and vendor management.
  • B2B and/or B2C experience.
  • Experience in Product, Marketing, Brand Management, Agencies, or Consulting roles.
  • Master’s degree or MBA, or Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or other related field with related experience.
