POSITION SUMMARY
We are looking for a highly motivated candidate who can work across teams to provide Part D subject matter expertise (SME) for the enhancement and maintenance of the Individual Medicare Product (IMP) database which is the business unit's source of truth (SOT) for storage and extracting bid level detail for Aetna's Part D related products. The selected candidate should be able to effectively convey verbally and in writing appropriate business requirements and create detailed documentation consisting of narrative and graphic depiction as appropriate that will be used by the coding team for the creation/modification of enhanced tool functionality. The selected candidate will serve as the IMP SME across the business segment assuring all CMS guidance and filing requirements are accounted for within the SOT, as well as achieving other internal business needs.

Fundamental Components:
Perform as the SOT lead from a user perspective to assure the IMP tool contains all data items required for successfully filing Part D products with CMS and able to share necessary data with downstream entities and partners to administer Part D products and programs. Must be clear and articulate in documenting user business needs for IT programming, as well as testing new/enhanced functionality to assure the desired outcome has been achieved and works properly. Interact with downstream partners and entities to understand their needs and assure their data file/reporting requirements are satisfied. Must achieve high degree of competency working with Product, Caremark (PBM), Rx Operations, Marketing, Compliance, IT, Legal and other areas as needed. Work collaboratively with individual SMEs and across functional lines to assure desired results.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of Medicare with a working knowledge of Part D in either an operational, compliance or IT role. Selected candidate must have prior business requirements drafting experience and/or Policy and Procedure experience. Candidate must be able to identify/analyze root causes and solve problems. Excellent oral and written communication skills.

EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
