lWe are currently seeking a Senior Informatics Consultant/Lead to work on the Customer Support and Operations team within the Medical Economics Unit. The successful candidate will join a team that is focused on providing high quality data to the Enterprise to support a variety of analytic and reporting needs. As a
Senior Informatics Consultant/Lead, you will see tasks through to completion with minimal guidance, take initiative to provide status updates to business stakeholders and leadership as necessary. Qualified candidates should possess superior communication skills, enjoy working in a challenging fasted-paced environment, and be highly task oriented.


Fundamental Components:
Responsible for identifying opportunities for automation and operational efficiencies to automate processes and to improve the quality of the data and controls within the Aetna Data Warehouse and Aetna Membership Reporting System.

Develop, document and implement workflows, policies, procedures, requirements, etc. for all processes within the team.
Strong skills in one or more of the following tools: SQL, SAS, data visualization, etc. are desirable
Very strong skills in Microsoft Office products
Create user facing documentation to assist our customers successfully turn the data available actionable information



Background Experience:
-4 to 6 years of proven track record in project management of multiple projects, meeting project milestones and negotiating for resources.
-Broad knowledge and understanding of healthcare data and understands the importance of high quality data and information
- Candidates must have excellent verbal and written communication skills and be able to manage project plans, assess risks, and develop mitigation strategies.
-Understanding of Data Warehouse and membership reporting environments, including data marts and business intelligence tools and their usage is highly desired
