Senior Director, Financial Planning & Analysis

Primary Location: Hartford, CT
Additional Locations: CT-Hartford
Provide strategic direction and oversight of global business unit finance operation. Partner with business unit senior management teams to maintain financial and operational control of the business.

​The Senior Director of Transformation FP&A will lead and contribute to a team of highly engaged Finance colleagues. You will provide leadership in the management of monthly close, quarterly forecast and Strategic and Operating Plans. You will help Finance Leadership stay apprised of financial results, support businesses, and manage financial performance across a portfolio of transformation products and services. Yellow belt required.

Fundamental Components:
-Oversight of all financial consolidation and reporting activities for the transformation businesses, with responsibilities to understand why, not just the results
-Partners with business unit leader, and Finance leaders to execute short and long-range strategic plans
-Partner with business unit management to analyze and support full P&L responsibility
-You will develop close working relationships with other Finance teams to foster collaboration; provide assistance and guidance with corporate processes and financial systems
-You will assist with the development of business unit scorecards, monitoring of performance versus targets, and providing periodic updates to business leaders
-Manage tracking and reporting of strategic investments as well as guide teams through funding approval process, and maintenance of expense/P&L system structures


Background Experience:
-Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Actuarial Science or similar disciplines
-Prior Project Management experience required
-10 - 15 years significant/pertinent financial planning and analysis experience
-Knowledge of healthcare, managed care, insurance or financial services
-Prior P&L responsibility required
-Advanced degree in Business and/or FSA/CPA preferred
