Description:
Responsible for design, development and implementation of pricing risk models in distributed frameworks such as Hadoop and Spark. Develop ensemble machine learning models to improve upon existing pricing risk models. Test and evaluate the performance of different machine learning methods in pricing risk score models such as: Decision Tree, GBM, Random Forest, XGboost, Deep Learning, lasso and ridge Regression, KNN, multitask learning and ensemble modeling. Create different validation frameworks in order to validate the results of machine learning models using retrospective data creation and model deployment strategies to ensure the quality of production. Responsible for sampling design, feature creation, and model development for disease progression and onset models for acute and chronic disease for pricing and care management use cases. Create severity and frequency models for different use cases in pricing. Responsible for data pipeline construction based on different data sources using Hadoop and Spark. Design and implement data exploration scripts for quality assessment of data pipelines using univariate, bi-variate and multivariate statistics. Propose and implement feature engineering strategies and data preparation methods for supervise and unsupervised models.

Background Experience:
Master’s degree in Statistics, Statistical Computing or Mathematics.
Minimum 2 years of data analytics experience. Must have experience with the design, development and documentation of data preparation and ETL pipelines; experience in
statistical analysis methods; machine learning; predictive modeling; unsupervised methods; and deep learning. Must have experience using R and Python to manipulate large datasets and to develop statistical models; data visualization; and Business intelligence tools to develop insights. Must also have experience with SQL and SQL server; Oracle; SAS; and SPSS.
