POSITION SUMMARY
Join Aetna in transforming health and wellness via products that enable consumer engagement and best-in-class experience. Aetna's Provider Data Innovation (PDI) program is a multi-year, cross work stream strategic effort to transform the Healthcare landscape by improve the accuracy of provider demographic data, streamline Network maintenance and drive local network strategy. As a Product Owner, you will join a highly energetic and motivated team implementing a Provider demographics workflow solution that will enable Aetna to manage provider data efficiently, improve provider engagement and enable a best-in-class member experience. Fundamental Components:
  • As a Business Product Owner, you will work in a fast-paced environment with the responsibility of key components within the Intake Worksteam of an advanced Provider Data Management platform.
  • You will be expected collaborate very closely with other Product Managers, Product Owners, technical teams, Business Stakeholder and senior leadership in a fully scaled agile environment.
  • Lead the programs relationships with Intake vendors and help model their processes to meet program needs.
  • Grow your skillset and knowledge base by working alongside talented and passionate teammates from diverse backgrounds.
  • Work closely with engineering and product management to establish overall product vision, decompose high-level requirements into user stories and tasks, manage and prioritize the product backlog, participate in scrums and meta-scrums, and validate delivered solution designs.
  • Prioritize the iteration and defect backlog grooming.
  • Provide product subject matter expertise and leadership.
  • Ensure internal product stakeholders needs / expectations are met and promote transparency by helping communicate through SAFe/SCRUM practices .
  • Provide support in the development of new data models, data access and data governance.
  • Provider support and leadership in multi-Healthplan, Industry level collaborations efforts.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively work on teams within a highly collaborative environment.
  • Demonstrated experience driving agile product development.
  • Demonstrated facilitation skills and the ability to maintain working relationships with all levels of the organization.
  • Demonstrated Project management ability, effectively working on teams in highly collaborative environments.

BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:
  • 7+ years experience with several of the following methodologies: requirements management, project management, business process consulting
  • Experience with enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional large scale initiatives with high degree of complexity. Demonstrated experience successfully implementing change in complex organizations.
  • Capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization simultaneously. Desire to innovate at a fast pace
  • Strong critical thinker who makes balanced, insightful decisions
  • Ability to thrive in a fully SAFe-Agile development environment SAFe Agile Certification preferred Maintain strong relationships across key stakeholders and constituents
  • Engaging and concise speaking and presentation skills Strong communication skills and ability to help direct product development Experience in healthcare and Provider domain preferred

EDUCATION
The highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
