Multi-Channel Campaign Reporting Analyst

Primary Location: Hartford, Connecticut
Additional Locations: CT-Hartford
Come join our new and growing Digital Communications team.

Aetna is looking for a Reporting Analyst who specializes in organizing, analyzing, and visualizing data to influence and support key business decisions. In this role you are a subject-matter expert in designing, developing and deploying highly usable interactive dashboards for the multi-channel team, with a focus on email and SMS. You are passionate about turning data into information, with an emphasis on accuracy and clarity at every step. You will work with a fast-paced team to design, implement, maintain, and evolve critical BI solutions. In addition, you will develop and deliver ad hoc reporting to support the needs of the team. You’re naturally curious, are dedicated to on-time delivery and deployment, and you combine technical agility with a focus on the business impact of your work.

Fundamental Components:
- Works in a fast paced and agile work environment.
- Understands data warehouse structures, SQL and
- Business Objects reporting platforms to leverage data to create solutions and present data through reports, and dashboards.
- Works directly with team and internal customers to translate business needs into report requirements
- Documents specifications and process.
- Summarizes detailed data into constructive information.
- Meets and exceeds business request and performs reasonability check.
- Utilizes and understands healthcare management to prepare operational reporting and dashboards that improve decision making and provide analytical assistance for the business

Background Experience:
3-5 years of data interpretation and analysis experience.
3-5 years of reporting experience required (data warehouse experience a plus). Proficient at independently writing SQL statements.
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages ( R, python, SAS, Strata, etc.) for analyzing large datasets.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to prepare and present analytical data key findings and deliverables to various audiences, including executive leadership, with an ability to present and explain analytic output.
Healthcare background preferred.
Demonstrated ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment where meetings deadlines is essential. Must be comfortable with a wide range of reporting tools and database platforms.
Past experience in using Salesforce Marketing
Cloud is preferred and/or other CRM or marketing tools such as Marketo, Eloqua,
Responsys, Google Analytics, Omniture, etc.
Very strong organizational & documentation skills.
